One day, John and Dusty decided to take their cravings for curing on the road with their BBQ restaurant franchise. They towed a barbeque pit and found a shoulder on the road. The first day they sold 4 sandwiches, but by the third day of curbside pickup, they completely sold out.

The fans were smelling delicious food, while the Holland boys were smelling success. Eventually, in 2012, they opened their first brick and mortar BBQ restaurant franchise. The people of Las Vegas showed up to eat their favorite barbeque, as they continue to do to this day. Then, the flames got hotter, and the brand got meatier when a fan of the food became a partner in the vision.

Meet the Owners of Rollin Smoke BBQ Franchise

Rick Harrison, owner and operator of Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, opened his highly trafficked Pawn Plaza in 2015. He wanted to offer the best food around, and he had been a long time patron of Rollin Smoke Barbeque. He partnered with John and Dusty to open a brand new location. This new location was called Rick’s Rollin Smoke BBQ & Tavern.

Since then, John Holland and Dusty have opened several new locations, which have all been highly successful.

Our passion for BBQ began when we started cooking on the side of the road, and through hard work and dedication, we have grown into a successful franchise with multiple locations across the country.
